You Can Help Lantern Light With A Donation To Our Feeding Programs

Lantern Light offers two meals as part of our feeding program, which consists of a morning snack served at 8:00 am and a daily lunch at 1:00 pm.  We also serve as a sight for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana.

We have been blessed to receive ongoing donations from individuals, families, churches, schools, organizations, grocers, bakers, caterers and even restaurateurs who wish to advance our feeding programs.

Donate a Meal

We welcome the opportunity for individuals, groups, or businesses to provide a morning snack or lunch.  We accept donations  of excess pastries, dry goods, and even left-overs from an event.  Please consider donating items, whether big or small, to our ministry.

 Donate to the Food Bank

We welcome the opportunity for individuals, groups, and businesses to provide items for our grocery and toiletry bags.  Please consider donating the following items to help us continue serving individuals living within the boundaries of St. Joseph Church:

Pasta – 1lb Bags	Tuna	Soap
Rice – 1 or 2lb Bags	Cereal	Deodorant
Red Beans- 1 or 2lb Bags	Canned Fruit	Toothpaste
Peanut Butter – 16 oz.	Vienna Sausage	Toothbrushes
